Staking Ettiquette Question

Say you've been staked to play online poker (purely hypothetical, obviously) and you had a Step 2 ticket prior to being staked and made it a step 3 ticket and wanted to play a tourney with it.

Should you share any winnings from said ticket with your backers ?

Comments

  • No. But you should have made the stakers aware of this.
  • No, but you could throw it in as a bonus if you wanted too, if at all possible I would not play your own tickets, money etc etc at same time as being staked to avoid problems, more so on same site as being staked.:)

That's a good point. I think I'll just wait until after the stake is done to use it, err, if of course this wasn't hypothetical.
  • Although since you set the agreement to be $11 max, you could safely play a step 2 ticket. Just let the stakers know so that they don't think it's their money when you win it. :)
  • Nah, I'll just wait to use it. Besides, it takes away time from me making you guys money.

I think you should give it to your oldest staker... hypothetically of course...
  • How do we define oldest, comp?

Age, or length of time spent as a "backer"? :D

I'd win. Been backing players for 3-1/2 years now.
  • Aaahh . . . but, were you backing this particular horse?

    I backed his miniFTOPs too.
  • It's all moot anyway. You can't transfer steps tickets.
