GG Tony Proudfoot . . .
Tony Proudfoot, Grey Cup Champion and CFL Hall of Famer, succumbed to ALS today. Proudfoot was known as a tough and physical player on the field. He showed, through the ongoing series of articles he posted while battling Lou Gehrig's disease, that he was a tough and physical player off the field as well. He documented many of his troubles for the Montreal Gazzette in an effort to highlight the battle to cure ALS, including dictating what he knew would be his last article just prior to Christmas.
