I've read other articles suggesting both Damon and Norton would be interested (link1, link2). Not so sure about Malkovich. Besides, if it's based in Vegas, it doesn't make sense for KGB (illegal club owner) or K'nish (grounded grinder) to be there. I'd like to see some creativity, with new goons and bookies and blood-sucking rail-birds...
I think K'nish could work as he could easily explain how he now "grinds it out in the comfort of his own home" and satty'd in. Worm makes sense too as he can find some way to weasel into the tourney.

And get his ass kicked by cheating the LVPD runners at Flo's Diner lol
if they swing it as mike playing in the main event, they could have any number of characters come back as they could also be playing in the main event. it wouldn't be crazy to see KGB show up for a tournament, would it?
A new Rounders movie is exactly what the poker worlds needs to introduce the game to a new generation of players. The WSOP and WPT would be stupid NOT to get involved in some way. Great opportunity for P*s and FTP also.
Never seen that one so I'll have to assume you're correct. I just found the whole thing a little too goofy in terms of how they beat you over the head with all the stuff each character said that was important. They'd say it in the beginning of the movie, then 5 more times throughout it and then, in case you hadn't gotten the message, they say it again, really thoughtfully, at the end of the movie. I will say that I thought Robert Duvall gave his usual ass kicking performance

Makes me want to pull these out to play with tonight:
and the hell with Worm, I wanna see KGB, K'nish, and Famke Jannsen's characters if it's going to be old home week.

Teddy KGB is Isildur1.
I get the feeling its gonna end up being more "Lucky You" than a darker "Roundersish" form, which is unfortunate.
Duvall is money . . .
