  • why raise KQo and check behind on the flop when you hit TP? the SB called your PF raise, you give him a free card, I'm guessing he's semi-bluffing his flush/str8 draw.

If there's any history and you can put him on a bluff, shove. I think you missed taking it down on the flop and I'd give up pissed off at myself....
  • haha pissed off? I check the flop to induce him to bluff on the turn, its a risky play but a good way to get chips early. I got the raise I wanted. I more wanted to know if people thought I should push here or give him a free card thinking he may bluff the rest off, but he also might hit.
  • You really like playing KQ don't you.>:D:D
  • dont start with me :P
  • hehehehehe

"Great call on the turn moron"

    rofl:wink2:
  • lol a lot of fun hands today lol
  • I'd play it like you did and I'd call AT LEAST the turn raise. Probably river too on most cards but I'd definitely call to reevaluate

Edit: Just noticed how short he was, that makes it pretty akward

Edit: I'd probably shove turn, he can show up with a bunch of draws here, especially ones that formed on the turn. I think the best way to play for max value in this spot is to put it in
  • I more wanted to know if people thought I should push here or give him a free card thinking he may bluff the rest off, but he also might hit.

This isn't a free card is it? He paid dearly for it.....i think i would just call and call the river bet provided it wasn't out of line. betting the turn and calling the check raise is fairly strong so i think villain is hard pressed to really bluff hard at the river.

edit: k just noticed rich's edit, lol he just leaves it at its awkward.....

maybe we can call and call river expecting villian to shove/bluff his chips some of the time and check raise his sets some of the time...i think we have to check behind then for sure ....i don't think he gets a free draw so if he hits its likely from 5 or so outs.
  • I had decided I was good and decided to shove, he folded pretty quick. I got all I could out of him I thought
  • I check the flop to induce him to bluff on the turn, its a risky play but a good way to get chips early.

    Thisssssss.

I flat the turn though and let him barrel the river.
  • Yeah I thought that after, but wasnt sure, which is why I put this up here haha
  • There are bad rivers for our hand here, lots and lots of bad rivers and I'm still putting newly formed draws in his range a bunch...just saying

Edit: I mean he's not gonna show AQ like ever, edtremely wierd line to take with a set, it contains a bunch of bluffs and he's also rarely checking bottom two or middle two on the turn so I need to fill out his range with draws lol, depends also on how willing he is to barrel a blank river light I guess
