December 10, 2010 The Final tournament of the year and the final of the 2010 Fall season championship. In the regular tournament we had 38 entries with all re-buys going into the prize pool. At the Championship table we had the top 10 qualifiers of the 2010 Fall Season playing a $3,420 free roll. In the regular tournament we congratulate Margaret and Kunal chopping $900 each, Zack $400, Adam S $300, Rob H $200 and John P $100. Our charity was Sick Kids Hospital $610.00

Please register for each event as listed on line by date of event.
Each event will be a standalone tournament with 100% of the prize pool paid out.
Each qualifying event will have earned points leading towards a Season Championship.

1. In each of the eight qualifying events players are allowed one re-buy ($60.00 for 4,000 in chips) and only in the first 80 minutes of play (4 blind levels). All re-buys are saved to fund the Championship Table.
2. 10 players will make the Championship Table based on points earned during the 8 qualifying events of the 2011 Winter Season Championship. Schedule above.
3. The Championship Table will be a free-roll funded by the re-buys of the 8 qualifying events.
4. All players not making the Championship may play in a regular event that same evening.
5. The Championship table qualifiers may purchase the regular season options to receive an additional 4,000 playing chips.
6. The regular event will have the regular re-buy option for first 80 min. with all re-buys going to the regular event prize fund that evening.
7. The Championship event will have no re-buy option, however, if you bust out within the first 80 min, you may buy-in to the regular event as a re-buy $60.00 for 4,000 chips.
8. The Championship event will have a base starting stack of 4,000 + 4,000 chips (see #5 above). Each player will then be awarded additional chips based on earned points during the 8 qualifying events.
9. Earning points during the 8 qualifying events will be as follows:
a. 70 points for each paid entry at any qualifying event
b. 10 points for each paid option (3 x 10 = 30) at any qualifying event
c. 10 points for making a re-buy ($60.00 for 4,000 chips) at any qualifying event
d. 10 points for finishing in the top 30 (final 3 tables) at any qualifying event or
e. 30 points for finishing in the top 20 (final 2 tables) at any qualifying event or
f. 50 points for finishing in the top 10 (final table) at any qualifying event
g. 10 points for every $100.00 won at any qualifying event.
10. If required a tiebreaker will be used to determine 10th place. The tiebreaker will be based on the total points from #10 d, e & f above, this will reward the most consistent player. If necessary money earned will be the next tiebreaker.

2011 Winter Season of Tournaments
Friday, January 14th 6:30pm start
Registration open at 5:30pm please be early.
Open to both Men and Women age 19 and over.
Limited to the first 60 paid entries. Seats are reserved by RSVP until 6:15pm at that time we will start seating from the walk in list, first come first served.
Each tournament is a standalone event with all entries 100% paid out in the prize pool.[/b]
Buy-In: $60 all to prize pool. (+ $25.00 with the all options listed below)
Starting Chips: 4,000 (+ 4,000 with all options listed below)
Option #1- Players have the option (not mandatory) of donating $10.00 to go toward paying for the, hall, tables, chips, cards, audio visual equipment, website, etc. As a bonus for this donation, you will receive 1,500 in playing chips.
Option #2 - Players have the option (not mandatory) of donating $10.00 to charity. As a bonus for this donation, you will receive 1,500 in playing chips.
Optional Cheff Special: $5.00 includes $1,000 in playing chips plus a hamburger or hotdog and one beverage of choice.
With all the above options, the buy-in will be $85.00, starting stack will be 8,000 in playing chips.
Format: No Limit Hold'em - Freeze-Out after first 80 min.
Re-Buys: $60.00 for 4,000 chips, limited to one during first 80 minutes.
All re-buys go to the season championship played May 13, 2011.
Prize Pool: Top 10+% of players paid from total prize pool.
Blind Levels: increase every 20 minutes.
The blinds are designed to end the game by 1:00 am.
Tournament Rules: We play by TDA rules and Roberts Rules of Poker.
All decisions by Tournament Director are final.
Register/RSVP online and pay at the door.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase by private caterer.

We had 61 entries and it was good luck for some and good fun for all.
