whats the issue here, he had a huuuge back door flush draw with an ace high med kicker draw and called you down. standard.

It's the old call 3bet OOP -> bluff donklead -> bluff call -> check call stack with a -EV draw on the turn

thing is stacks are such that no matter what I raise pretty much I'm setting myeslf up for an easy turn shove. if stacks were deeper I'd probably go closer to 500 on that flop to protect my hand

When u lose a hand like this, you have to say the guy was looking for an opportunity to double up or move onto the next tournament. If it had been a black card on the turn, chances are he is out.

That is what some of these guys do. No rhyme or reason.
