Brantford Casino Tournaments ?

I don`t see a lot of talk about Brantford Casino on this board, just wondering...

Has anyone played in the weekend tourneys there?
What is the avg. skill level?
And do they get a full house for most tourneys?

Any info would be helpful thanks

Zak

    Indeed!

Zak, you can find better value home game tournaments in SW Ontario that won't cost you a rake.
  • They avg. around 40-80 runners. Skill level varies from tournament to tournament. There tends to be a "regular" crowd that play many of them, most of whom play limit there 6 or 7 days a week. It is a beatable game, just expect your jaw to drop at least a couple of times when you see some of the calls some people make.

I though all BCC tournaments were capped at 50 people?
  • BCC tourneys now max 80. Didn't you count last time?

    tournaments are NL...
  • I played a $100 there just 5 days ago. Capped @ 80 players. $2500 starting stack, blinds started @ 25-25 and levels were 20 minutes.

I found the game/skill to be fairly average with a mix of super weak and folks wearing pokerstars hats, jackets, sunglasses, and using a stars card marker. I would definately go again. I enjoyed it.
