  • I think you know the answer
  • What's the saying again? "The fifth raise is super dooper aces" Although at this buyin level I've seen the same thing with ak even aj (probably even 44)

.....you say this every time i ask this....:-\..:p...:-\..

esp when K9 got all in w 50+BB

this is why i felt i had to four bet to isolate, otherwise ill get crushed post flop without a set. then original raiser goes all in and im left with a range that im lucky to be a coinflip against....
  • I have seen a lot of this too lately so you are not alone. I have an easier time folding Pocket aces unless I have shoved with them.
I love the Queens , and the 10's usually come up with trips or boats.
I know for myself there is a wider range of hands I play in a 4$ tourney.
Especially a MTT. I think a lot of people tighten up if they were to play in a higher stakes games.
  • I dont know what Id do in a 4.40 tourney but in what I play i wouldve just called the 4bet raise of 315 and got away on the flop, your so deep stack do you really want to get it in with just a pair of Qs. AA or KK of course, But I unno I dont like qq that much, easy to go broke with.

    thank you sir.

If you want legit answers to your "Strategy" question, why post the results?

This is a 4.40, no way in hell barring an absolute soul read do I fold QQ.

honestly,.....mr. internetwebz ninja....i don't usually either, but i had to re bet to isolate from donkey so was a legit question, i mean qq we can jam always.....but should we........
  • I am never shoving nearly 200bb deep with QQ preflop. I 3bet call the 4bet to setmine and play poker from there.

After we 5 bet and get a 6bet/shove and a call behind us, it is a fold every day. We still have 100+bb, there is no need to shove the rest in when we can be nearly certain the range of hands we are up against either beat or racing at very best. K9 in the hand notwithstanding.

Next time, I wouldn't post the results.

its set mine or fold i think. to fold after my last raise is no good since in these micros villain's reshove range is to far beyond aa kk believe it or not.

as for posting the results i only do it when there not relevant and i don't believe they are here. will call to evaluate the flop next time as you and betrthnphil suggested...thx all

Not all villains at the micro's are morons. I've been playing micro's for a few years now, mainly because poker is a hobby and for me, this is the only level I can comfortably afford. My only issue is staying sober long enough to finish the tournament....lol

Yes, there are aggro villains playing micro stakes willing to get it in with any two cards on occassion. But those are the ones that we can generally fold and find a better spot.
