Where's the easiest players to beat ?

I have been thinking about this for a while. Where are all the fishes at ? Is a private club game best or the Casino ? May be its online poker.

I think that an underground game should attract better players as they would have to know how to play to be interested in going, wouldn't they ? Where as, at a Casino, it is full of people who are just there to have fun for the evening and play some cards.

Let the debate begin.

    Most of the people I play with tend to deflect the conversation when I ask them who the "mark" is at our regular games. They are just too polite to point fingers, I guess . . .

    I would say underground clubs. Seem to attract more locals from the general area with more decent players frequenting the casino. You play 2/5 at a casino and raise pre-flop $80, you are lucky if you get a caller. Some clubs, you get 6 callers, hand after hand. Tons more action at a club.

    You get the fish playing at a casino, but they lose a few hundred BB and they are gone. You get a local businessman who plays at a local club, they are back night after night losing.

    My problem is to find a club with a rake that isn't outrageous.

    Most definately the casinos.
    If you can handle the wait and slow pace.
    I never see junkies and drug dealers shooting online.
