Noob indahouse
Hi everyone, I've enjoyed reading all your tourny stories so far!
Real name is Dave aka preroller
29, live in Kitchener for now, after living in the Rockies in Fernie, BC the past few years.
Enjoy football, hockey and golf...I root for the Leafs, Flames in NHL  Chiefs and Eagles in NFL.
hrm what else...been playing poker and cards most of my life, we were real euchre maniacs back in the old day, a buck a point.
I hate playing with wild cards! Straight up for this kid.
Been into fantasy sports for quite some time. I am the commish for a few NFL roto leagues and a pick em. Since I'm so pissed with how PRIEST HOLMES and TERRELL OWENS wrecked my season in the playoffs after an 11-2 record during the year. AGAIN! Also NHL, golf and NCAA pools are good times, i will pretty much bet on anything.
I play online @ tigergaming and it looks like I will be heading to Redingtons for a game in the near future, look forward to that.
I know it's cheesy but I will leave you with the lyrics to an old song my sisters and I can do a rousing rendition of...
On a warm summer’s evenin’ on a train bound for nowhere,
I met up with the gambler; we were both too tired to sleep.
So we took turns a starin’ out the window at the darkness
’til boredom overtook us, and he began to speak.
He said, son, I’ve made a life out of readin’ people’s faces,
And knowin’ what their cards were by the way they held their eyes.
So if you don’t mind my sayin’, I can see you’re out of aces.
For a taste of your whiskey I’ll give you some advice.
So I handed him my bottle and he drank down my last swallow.
Then he bummed a cigarette and asked me for a light.
And the night got deathly quiet, and his face lost all expression.
Said, if you’re gonna play the game, boy, ya gotta learn to play it right.
You got to know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run.
You never count your money when you’re sittin’ at the table.
There’ll be time enough for countin’ when the dealin’s done.
Now ev’ry gambler knows that the secret to survivin’
Is knowin’ what to throw away and knowing what to keep.
’cause ev’ry hand’s a winner and ev’ry hand’s a loser,
And the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep.
So when he’d finished speakin’, he turned back towards the window,
Crushed out his cigarette and faded off to sleep.
And somewhere in the darkness the gambler, he broke even.
But in his final words I found an ace that I could keep.
You got to know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run.
You never count your money when you’re sittin’ at the table.
There’ll be time enough for countin’ when the dealin’s done.
You got to know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run.
You never count you r money when you’re sittin’ at the table.
There’ll be time enough for countin’ when the dealin’s done.

I think you'll find Kitchener to be the hot spot for poker home games. I even travelled 6 hrs to one once!! (and it was a +EV adventure even)
If I may offer one piece of advice... don't bet on the Leafs!!
There is one rule I try to adhere to...don't bet on teams I root for.
I should have mentioned some of my favorite players on WPT...
Daniel Negreanu, Gus Hansen, Johnny 'World' Hennigan and Marcel Luske.
I actually first met Neil on there too, even though I had already bought chips off his old site. We were shooting the shit about Poker in some thread, and he mentioned that he owned a business, and I was like "Dude - I bought chips off you a month ago..." Small world - I even came out to KW to meet him and played in a bunch of tourney's there as well. There always seems to be some action up in that town....although I never have difficulty finding a game in the GTA.
BTW - The Cheifs are in trouble. They have a wicked O-Line, and Priest is sick, but that is about it. Trent Green is a bum, Gonzales is dope, but there receivers are beyond bad. And the defence is worse than the Colts. You can win a super bowl with no offense at all (Ravens 2000) but it is impossible to win without D. No team has ever won the SB without ranking in the top 10 in defence.
Hey - I also write an NFL column for my buddy's website - you can check out my shit here if you want:

Chiefs..yup, the D is in BIG trouble. They need to get some draft picks in there STAT!
and the WR are hurtin..I don't think Morton will be back, and Kinnison..meh, never really liked him much. Maybe a few of those kids will turn out to be good WR's?
KC could consider moving Johnson for some help on D - who looks like the beast that he was at Penn St. But the Chiefs need linemen, linebackers, and especially corners - those fools can't cover anyone.
Too bad the NFL is notorious for not really being a league of trades - which I could never understand??? So many good and unhappy players - but look how long it took McCardell to get moved. Even Miami gave away Wally Agunlyee for Marty Booker - when they really needed a RB to replace Ricky Williams - dumb, dumb move. Booker was a complete bust - they should have gone after Johnson...
Are you kidding....
Either Johnson will get traded, or if Priest is healthy, then its all him. The staff really doesn't like LJ, he's a whinner.
Woohoo playoffs tomorrow!
