I was playing in a live event once (it was an event run by another guy at the same venue where we hold Westside events), and had pocket aces. Me and another guy had the chip lead by far.
The flop comes down Ac Jc Ad. I flopped quad Aces! I check to the other guy and he bets into me! I just call.
Next card.. 3c. I check and the other guy goes all in!! I couldn't move my chips in fast enough.
We reveal our hands... and he has Kc Qc.
Of course the river comes down with the Tc.
If it was online I would definitely think it was rigged... but I dealt the hand!!
[Luckily I went over to the cash game though... I ended up making more money there than first place in the tourney. Man, I wish they still ran those events!]
