Was at Casino Rama this morning, they took out slots and put more poker tables right out on the casino floor in front of the poker room.:o

I don't know what is going on but that is very surprising.

Maybe remodeling the poker room?

Tournament coming up?

The room is that busy they needed more tables?

    i really hope so. like its so hard to find tourneys in ontario dude, i envy the ppl in bc and alberta. and it's about time they got more tables for cash games. that casino never has the option to call in for a waiting list. you have to be physically present. so gay. last time i went i put my name on all the tables i was waiting for 1 hr 48 min. total bs. but i really hope this is a tourney =)

    I don't think I'd go....
    They reserve spots here (BC) for an hour. I allways call 45mins before I plan to be there. (usually from work)

    ugh! only 2-5 offered, they are getting like fallsview, only like 3 or 4 tables open, you can tell rama is hurting just by the cutbacks.

    They prob still have 1/2, but it was only 2/5 this morning.

    But they are really slow right now, they lost like 7 million the last quarter or something(oh my heart bleeds >>>>>sarcasm :P).

    They cut back employees(of course), they did not have screens going by the ticket box which shows what shows are coming up, small things like that you notice.

    I had the usual breakfast there so all was not lost! (it's very yummy) :)

    i was there all of friday and left saturday morning around 6 am there were two 2/5 tables and three 1/2 tables running when i left crowd was higher than usually probably due to the concerts they are having this weekend

    I was not there till about 9 a.m., but ya more towards noon and later it starts getting busy I have noticed.

    So they had some 1/2 but still more 2/5 this morning, I find that surprising but maybe it is not, anywhooooo 1/2 and 2/5 seems to be the trend Saturday morning's for anyone who thinks of going at that time.


    But just letting you guys know, take this whatever way you want.

    So just got back from Rama, they were actually offering 5/10 nlh:o along with the usual 1/2 and 2/5, high rollers wetts or betrthanphil must have been going up:p cause it has been awhile since I seen them offer any higher than 2/5.

    Oh ya almost got into a rumble right at the end cause some ole hillbilly wanted to get in my mom's face, big mistake cause I will fucking kill you, so I started walking over yelling do you got a fucking problem? Told him to have some patience and he called me a tough guy cause I said I was going to throw his ass through the window and then told him to just get his money and get going, my dad was at the end of the aisle and he came down and said do you got a problem with my wife? He changed his tune pretty quick and stammered no no no,lol.

    Felt like I was in a dog the bounty episode,lol but I came real close to grabbing him by the throat and making him move along.:)

    But anyway I came out even so happy with that but got strep throat and a fever now :(.

    All I saw was 1/2 and 2/5 being offered and no problems getting a seat this morning anyway.

    I'm heading to Rama to see Russell Peters on May 5th. My girlfriend and I will be in the casino hours before the show starts. I plan on playing poker. First time playing poker there. How are the tables there?

    11 player tables . . . and they're oval, just like all the other ones in a poker room.

    before a show, tables are real juicy, but lines will be long.

    I did pretty well. Went in with 80 bucks going into a 1/2 NL and came out with 300.

    the are 10 per table now, although the stupid cup holders are all wrong, so people are still sitting as if its 11, which means seats 1 2 3 and 8 9 10 are just as crammed as they always were

    So was at rama today, last minute decision as got off early today, I only noticed the usual 1/2 and 2/5 games and the room was packed, from the sounds of it from some it was up to a hour or so wait.

    But glad I decided to go as I won over $600! Very good day and can't complain at all about that.

    Just standard situations really, my QQ held up against 99 and some pots when I bet flop when I hit top pair kinda thing.

    Quite a few really young guys there swearing away they got bad beat etc etc and just fishy looking peeps overall:p.

    $600. in an hour and a half at 1/2....? Wow that puts GTA to shame... Perhaps you should give him some tips. :) $400. per hour.. very nice.
