Died at 44 due to complications from Diabetes. Not exactly a stellar performer, but he was quite the sight to see.
Also hilarious how, since he was such a failed basketball player for the Atlanta Hawks, the braintrust behind Ted Turner sent him to WCW, because apparently if you're over 7' and can't play basketball, you can wrestle for WCW. It's how Big Show and Kevin Nash got in there

Never knew he was a basketball player . . .
One in the same. He was a big deal in his home country of Argentina and the awesomely smart people in the Atlanta Hawks organization saw him play for the Argentinian national team and thought "we have to waste a first round pick on this freak of nature".
