Anyways, I am currently with rogers but may look to change.
Koodoo has peaked my interest. Anyone here have any experience with them (or others NOT BELL).
Looking for a decent price on voice (+ my 5/10) and a data package that can be scaled as needed. i.e. Want a base data package that does not screw you over if you on overages.
Also the ability to tether my laptop/tablet.
Didn't read rest of thread, but would plus 1 any IPhone 4s fans. The voice dictation is great, Siri searches contacts fast, my favorite features do far. As for Rogers, if you aren't at the end of your rope, just call them to disconnect the line and they will try for an hour to give you a better deal. This $60/month package promo that has been big competition offer between companies should cover 99% of of smart phone users and is huge bundle. My guess is Rogers is willing to even cut that in half again if your on way out door. Might as well hear them out, I still switched to Bell, but I liked the numbers Rogers threw out.
not sure how much usage online poker would take up every month?
Finally got around to getting my Samsung Galaxy III phone. Have nothing to complain about with the exception of the battery life which is about 2 days max. Great being able to tether my ipad on the GO train and play Stars on the way home.
Paying $50/month for 6GB of data and phone cost me $59 for the 32GB upgrade phone on Telus. So far no problem with excess data. Youtube is the real data killer.
Had this about a day now. Speed is the first thing I notice, considerably faster than my 4. Would have preferred a bigger (Samsung) screen....doesn't seem any bigger.
Couple of apps won't load (my fantasy football pool being the most important, along with poker income). Assuming updates will come.
Voice recognition for typing is the cats azzzz, but don't do while impaired.
upgraded from my bb to iphone 5 today too.... impressed so far, but the on screen keyboard is a bit tilting. Like t8 said the voice recognition for typing is handy

The 6GB package is way too much as I really only use huge amounts of data when I am traveling and cannot find convenient WIFI.
me - still on my $13/month plan. (don't text me).
hobbes, you never answer your phone anyways so you need the 0 min/month plan.
Surf porn in public You'll use more.
