FS: 4'x8' Custom Poker Table $335

For sale is a poker table I built recently. It's 43"x88"x30"H full felt table, I don't like racetracks as they are loud when shuffling chips and make it hard to pick up your cards. It's made with 2 sheets of 3/4" plywood and the following materials:

-velveteen playing cloth
-vinyl rail, seamless
-1/4" foam under velveteen
-1" high density foam for rail padding
-metal folding legs

The top of the rail plywood was rounded over with a router to ensure extra comfort. The rail plywood was built using 1 piece of ply, nothing was joined together. Please see the pictures for more details. The rail is a deep burgundy and the velveteen is black. both the 1/4" foam and cloth are glued down to prevent bunching.

    Nice looking table Tony :) Love the seamless rail!

    But...suited speedcloth ftw. Dealing to the other end of the table is so much nicer with speedcloth. Also...drink holders are a must.

    thanks dennis. my next few tables will be made with suited speed cloth, velveteen is a nice cheaper alternative to ssc. you can still deal from one end of the table to the other no problem with velveteen. cup holders are another thing i'm putting in one of my next tables, into the rail. i'm not a fan of having cup holders in the playing surface, they're just begging to have chips and cards fall into them.

    I agree...drink holders in the rail. When you are doing custom, you really don't need to worry about the extra few bucks for ssc..you will recoup it.

    Learn how to dye the cloth or find a cheap source for getting custom logos on the tables...then you will have a HUGE market ;)

    actually i make very little profit from my tables so every little bit counts. at the moment i'm just building tables and selling them to build up a gallery of tables.

    i would love to learn how to do dyes and logos, i've already started researching :)

    Not yet. I played at WETTS place back in the summer and I liked his table. I was hoping that someone may know or have the info on this guy in Pefferlaw. If Not I wll try kijiji . I don't need them right away. I will do a tourney in January which will give me enough time to shop around.
