So negmike (midnightmike on here) is right now over in the u.k. playing in a apat event that he qualified for.

Day one is today, he said there was going to be a live stream on APAT Amateur Poker Association & Tour but I am not sure on that as I did not see a tab for live stream or anything on the site.

    ohhhhhh ya baby!!!! Mike is kicking ass from the sounds of it, he has won all 3 matches he has played, 2 shootout and a heads up match.

    He is playing in a team event and is playing for team Canada where we are in the lead!:wink2:

    Team canada finished 2nd, Mike finished 3rd overall out of 48 for individual standings, what he won if anything I am not sure yet.

    Still 3rd is not too bad as there was prob some very good players.:)

    thank you for the well wishes. I am back at home now, and as upset as I am over losing by 1 point. I'm happy to have been a part of the event. They are a great group of ppl so I cant say a bad word about them. Dusk Till Dawn in Notingham 45+ poker tables all in one club, cant ask for much more. Great venue, and even though it was a -ev event the silver medal still has a value to it. The cash games certainly can make up for any loss in equity. They are great people, great players and it was good fun, if anyone is interested for next year please drop me a line. Thanks
