Local poker table builder for cheap

Hey everyone. Posting in the local BC section because I live in the lower mainland and i'm getting into the table building business. I've built a few tables and i'm starting to build them for sale. Let me know what kind of table you want (color, size, extras) and we can discuss what I can do for you. At the moment i'm offering 44" wide tables at whatever length up to 8ft. Full cloth, vinyl wrapped rail and folding legs. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 778-990-TONY (8669) or email at tonychanman@gmail.com. You can also check out my website at www.chanmanpokertables.com

I offer dealer chip trays, raised rails, cupholders in the playing surface or rail, pedestal legs, suited speed cloth, any many other customizations.

Example of my last table I built:
46"x84" Table topper with 5" rail:

  • Here's a table I just completed, it's 43"x88", 10 seater but it could probably fit more like 12 people. it's made with black velveteen and burgundy vinyl. it has 1/4" foam under the velveteen and 1" heavy duty foam used for the rail. It has folding metal legs for easy storage.

hehe, no business number. This is just a hobby for me at the moment.

    You only need one if

•You (resident or non-resident) provide taxable, including zero-rated goods or services in Canada in the course of carrying on business in Canada on a regular or continuing basis and your revenues exceed $30,000 ($50,000 for public service bodies) in a single calendar quarter or in four consecutive calendar quarters

I would imagine you're quite safe Tony.
  • Nice tables. The NHL one is quite unique...I just don't like the elevated rail.
  • I like the round one, actually. Maybe slightly wider for use as a regular table . . . I assume a top can be added for a nominal charge?
  • thanks guys, yeah the rail riser on the NHL table reflects the raised rail on the WSOP table that was copied, it is a little high. it's all about different preferences i guess.

@Milo, yes dining table tops can be added. i build them with skirts around the edge to hide all the poker components

HOw much for that round table, with the top?
  • for that exact table with a dining topper, $1085 + $200 for the topper, not including the cost for design for the custom cloth. i actually sold it for a bit less than that for my customer because he supplied me with his own cloth which reduced the price by a few hundred bucks
  • The round one is nice.
  • that seems to be most people's favorite. simple and classic. after my current projects i'll be building another 56" round, but this time with cup holders in the rail and folding legs.

  • haven't updated in a while, but I wanted to bump this thread with two tables I just recently finished for someone in Calgary. 2 tables, same styles but different colors. 4'x8' with dining table toppers.

This one is stained Ebony black, with the raised rail stained to match

  • Very nice looking stuff.... Wish all threads could be so pleasant...:)
  • Love the colour schemes of the last two.

I'd leave off the decorative nails though; looks tacky.

    :D
  • Thanks guys.

the deco nails are tacky to some... all about personal preference. those are actually suited decorative nails, here's a closeup.

  • this table is going to california, i found out that dealing with customs is a real pain in the ass...

4'x8' dual curve topper (no legs)
    Brown faux suede 8" rail
Interchangeable playing surface, unsuited green speed cloth & custom cloth
    Illuminated raised rail

don't mind the gap between the rail and base sheet in the first pics, the rail wasn't bolted down yet.

  • Just finished this table and it's been sent away to Smithers. It's a table topper so it just sits on top of an existing dining table. It has a sub frame which is just larger than the table it sits on so that the table doesn't wiggle around on top of the table.

  • Nice touch on the beer.
  • I always enjoy seeing your tables. Thanks.

The rail on that table is only 5" wide cause the table is so small. I told him that I couldn't use the normal jumbo cup holders I usually use, he told me "as long as they're big enough to fit a beer, it's all good".

Thanks moose, glad I could be of service :wink2:
