Game downtown toronto!
in Poker Games
Hi everyone,
I'm a great game downtown.
*Free rolls
*Tournaments
* Jackpots
*1/2 NL
*2/5 NL
*Free food and drinks
I have a large number of players already, and looking for some new faces.
Plenty of action and a great atmosphere.
Message me for details.
Thanks, Stu

Received PM, Not very tournament friendly. Per the usual.
I think this guy has posted before about his underground under a diff id..
And no I haven't posted anything under any other names.
Sorry guys but tourneys aren't the easiest thing to run often.
The monthly rebuy is a good game.
Most players like cash games.
Suggest something. You never know.
If you're going to be a cry baby keep it to yourself.
Its not about what tournament.
Its about clubs not catering to MTT in general, Most players like cash games is not accurate. Most players who come to clubs like cash games - thats accurate.
Too many clubs run MTT with 3K chips and 10-15 minute levels. Owners dont understand that catering frequently to this crowd gets people through the doors. They just dont want to do it because theres no chop.
The best clubs and club owners understand that they are providing a service, not just printing money.
THIS!
I've only seen one club that actually provides a weekly MTT with a decent (well, not bad, anyway) structure that gets anywhere from 60 to 100 players every week. They normally host cash games, and still provide a couple of tables during this weekly MTT for those who bust out of the tourney. They make a decent buck with the cash game, but zero on the tourney, and still provide food/beverages at no cost. This club understands that cash pays, but tournament play gets them in the door, so they will host the tourney as an expense and recover during the cash games.
I think more 'clubs' should do similar. If they provided a decent tournament with decent blinds, and NOT take a rake from it, they'll find more players coming out to their establishment, and then offer the cash game tables on the side (or just drop hints that cash play is available whenever) to cover the tourney expense.

What's the rake?
Wait, what, rake??? Can't be can it? Wouldn't that make it illegal?
lolol.. for a new guy around here you sure are pushy.... Lots of games here without rake.... We have the knowledge...
Fuck me....what a great idea. Why didn't I think about that?? I know...I'll start a league that plays once a week, no rake, and awards points to all players based on their play every week. And then, at the end of the season, we'll throw a big game that will be like a freeroll to those who play often enough, for a chance at some big money.
I'm a fucking genius. Thanks Stu!
Jeesh AJ, say it like you mean it... lol... now you went and chased away another great contributor.... hehe, well maybe not a contributor.....
If he ran a game that tailored to the players instead of his wallet, I might have gone easier on him.
need translation, My engrish not soo gggggggoooood!
TRANSLATion
I am an idiot and know nothing about running a tournament.
The monthly re buy is a good game for me to make a lot of money.
Most players like cash games eventhough I take 50%
You can suggest something but not likely to happen unless I am going to make more money.
If you don't like it go take a FLYING PHUK
Pretty personal.
You guys are really cool.
No, We are generally a happy group.
It's not personal, Some of us tell it as it is. And this is what it is.
Yes we are cool. Thanks for noticing.:)
also, is it illegal to play at places that take a rake?
yes but I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Looking to Olay 1/2, maybe 2/5. New here from Vancouver, live dt, saw your post and signed up for the forum. Would I've to know more, thanks man.
