RAMA, Ont. - The OPP report six people have been charged after allegedly cheating at Casino Rama.

Police said the accused were playing midi bac - a popular table game - and were observed card switching.

The OPP said the actions resulted in the casino losing approximately $210,000 on Sunday and Monday.

One Toronto resident and five others from South Korea have been charged with cheating at play and possession of property obtained by crime.

All six are in police custody and are scheduled to appear in a Barrie courtroom on Friday for a bail hearing.

    Was the dealer not confirming the winner/loser at the end?? I am assuming this was midi baccarat?

    The dealer's were doing their job 100% and were not "in on it".

    a few years ago i was playing at Rama, After the dealer finishes the hand The floor ask her to count the deck down. She counts the deck and it adds up to 51 cards. The floor then go's over to the player sitting in seat 7 (he has security already standing behind the guy at this point). the floor ask him to empty the pocket on his shirt. Sure enough he had the Ad tucked in his shirt pocket.

    Security doesn't miss a thing at our casinos. Theres a gazillion cameras and every inch of the floor is covered.
    They are also highly trained and know exactly what to look for when someone is cheating.
    Dumb asses were arrested in their hotel rooms but the cops already knew who they were so it was only a matter of time.
