Felted the loud mouth, know it all
I was at Niagara playing 1/2 and there was a guy at the table that was the loudest, most obnoxious player I have had the misfortune of playing with. As an example, early in the game, he was not involved in a hand and a tight player mucked his hand after another player showed his better hand. Helmuth want a be, asks to see the cards of the mucked hand. Bad form. He always talked about his hand and berated other players for their hands.
I was not going after him by any means, but his style was very obvious. He only played monsters but couldn't fold them for any reason. After about 5 hours at the same table, I was in the big blind and he raised from mid position to $17 - I called with 10-4 suited - (I know, but I knew if I hit, it was all mine).
Flop comes 4c-4h-7c and I check. He says, I can't let you catch your club and bets $32 and I just called. Turn is a 3d, I check - he bets $100 and I go all in and he SNAP calls me - I have $700 behind and he has $275. I say, I have a 4 - and flip over my hand, river is a deuce and he mucks his hand. It was the first time all night he was quiet.
He left after that hand and the entire table congratulated me on sending him home with nothing, even the dealer said "He didn't know what hit him".

Very Juicy tables.
You should have asked to see his cards.
Nice hand!
Implied odds ftw. :-)
