  • Should jam again unelss you're trying to induce someone to play back... I'd probably call with the brief history.

i'd agree but with such soft players if they raise i can count on them having top hands. with this guy i expected him to shove almost but chickened out after i thought about it. i think i shoulda called too...

You have an ace, and he's playing 62/11, so his range has to be rather weak. He's raising 11% of his hands (most likely his premiums most times), and has another 51% of w/e in his range that he could be spazzing with. His stats don't indicate someone who's likely to be limp trapping, unless it's {AA} and we have one of the four A's in the deck, so I call.

i cannont believe i don't have his three bet stat posted. im sure it was small though. but his three bet range is likely alot tighter, countered with the fact that he probably has me on a weaker hand than the first one, even if he has little concept of the game, countered by the fact that he thinks ill likely fold.

i wish i called, its still a close one for me but i finally figured out how to represent hand ranges properly in poker stove...so i understand better.

3-bet % doesn't mean much in this situation, it's pretty specific.

    ok i c then

And 74 hands isn't gonna tell ya squat for 3 bet%

:bs: many times at this level a guy can have a 3bet % of like 10 or higher. his fav thing is to three. that would tell you lots.

At a full table that is only 8ish orbits..and he isn't going to be in position to 3 bet (due to whatever factors) often enough (if this is his fav. thing to do) to be able to get a read on it...you are in a tourney..not cash.

-not saying it ISN'T a factor...just saying we need more hh to really tell

unless of course, its waaay outa whack in this small sample size...

Bayes theorem says you can deduce a bunch of info from a small sample depending on the numbers.

and in 74 hands a guy who three bets light will no doubt have found many hands to do it with.

    *maybe*

    *I'd bet on it*

    ^-^
  • it's hard to fins spots to 3bet light early on in the daily dollar though ^^'
  • If you're going to play this hand, you should just shove pre, and that's almost certainly what you should do.
