I control the wait list and seeing how there is usually no shows, I tend to choose those I know that will show and keep their RSVP up to date.
Also that 15 player wait list is for the first game, the wait list is much smaller for the other 11 events
as long as you are on the wait list, there is a good chance once players start to drop out, which usually happens closer to the date of the event
