My 50 Most Memorable Hands - Poker Players Demise.

I read "My 50 Most Memorable Hands" by Doyle Brunson.

What struck me most is that Doyle talks about what happened to the players in the hands.

There are very few players who had a "Happy Ending".

Lots of them get shot, died of suicide etcetera.

It doesn't look like a very good life.

  • Good, and I wish the same for all three players who took me out on the three sng's I played tonight.

Doyle could make movies with the stories he's got.
  • Sure the ROCKETS came up a few times. lol
  • The best part of the books is where Doyle describes how Sid Unger had never played no limit hold'em before and enters the main event and figures out how to play NLH and learns as he goes and wins the main event — Beating Doyle heads up - having never played heads up NLH before.
  • Sid Unger?
