Stampede Classic and go rounds July-9th to 18th

Currently under way at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino. "Go rounds" twice daily at noon and 7:30 wrapping up on the 17th. MAin event is an $1100 buy-in on Sunday the 18th at Deerfoot.

Go rounds are $185 and 1 in every 7 players advance. in the first 4 days 28 seats have been awarded, with 3 players taking cash as it was their second win. Average field has been 25-34 for each.

We are expecting 100-150 players in the main, interest has been double when compared to last year and the sats should account for at least 70-80 at this pace.

CPT members get $5 off go rounds and $20 of ME direct entry

Go rounds, 5k in chips 20 minute levels.

  • The Stampede Classic Poker Tournament had an excellent turnout of 159 players, building a pot of over $154,000! With a healthy a starting stack of
    T15,000 and 40 minute levels, there was a ton of play to be had. So much so, that the high noon start kept the game going until the break of dawn, not wrapping up until early this morning.

    A huge congradulations to Sean Finney who is the 2010 Stampede Classic Poker Tournament Champion! Sean wins $40,000 to go with the prized winners buckle, which will be custom made to display the winning hand.

    Also, a huge thank you to all the staff at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino who worked hard and late all through the week during the "go rounds", with 86 players advancing through the sats and well into the night to make this Main Event so successful. Here are the results:
