• Ya I just remembered day 3 is tomorrow, wonder why there was no updates, lol
• I hope Sammy Farha runs good and takes this down.
• Joe Cada and Eric Buchanan are the only 2 from last years November 9 still alive.
• The best thing that could happen for poker is if somebody stupider than Moneymaker, who bought in for < $40, wins it and starts another poker boom
• :o Negreanu Busted. Very disappointed
Joe Cada - Devilfish - Roland DeWolfe - Phil Laak - Jen Harmon all gone.

Here's a surprise. Chris Moneymaker OUT Like he will ever win again
Vanessa Rousso OUT lol

Sammy F is still plugging away along with Barry Greenstein, Cathy Liebert, Patrick Antonius and one of my favorites, Scotty (That's right BABY) Nguyen.

Not sure about Gavin Smith. I think he is passed out under one of the tables.:)

Sammy Farha = best poker personality

He's the pro I'd like to see at the final table again.
• Apparently Ulliot's hair plugs went on a run, not for chips . . . just trying to escape.

Sam Farha is something straight out of a Ratpack movie . . . lotsa love for Sammy.
• Just checked Liebert and JJ Liu have busted

Sam Levy 835k 13th Johnny Chan 604k 26 David Assouline Que 500k
44 Hoyt Corkins 425k David Benyamine 370k 83 Sammy Fahra 300k
120 Dan Harrington 180k 123 Scotty Nguyen 165k Gavin Smith 127th 155k

Accordig to this source they are at level 14 SB 1500 BB 3000 ante 400

It's really a toin coss with over 7000 entering and 1001 left.
From what I have been reading there are a lot of bingo players playing too.
A little luck for a couple of days in this Marathon can go a long way.
Hard to beat a bingo star when they are hitting everything.:bs:
I find myself rooting for the underdog here.
I like Scotty and would love to sit down at a table with him. I hope he catches some luck and gets bak into it.
I have to agree with Reefaquarium. It would restart the poker boom if some retard managed to bingo his way to the final table and win this.

And the Darvin Moon/Joe Cada finish wasn't enough?

And the Darvin Moon/Joe Cada finish wasn't enough?

I don't think Joe Cada or Darvin Moon qualify as retards. I think they both played really well from what I saw last year.

**************************************************
7/13/2010 7:00:28 PM PST (about 1 hours and 16 minutes ago)
Dinner Break?
For the next 90 minutes, the clock will paused with 1:15:44 left in Level 16 and 751 players remaining.

"We want you all to enjoy your dinner break," tournament director Jack Effel announced. "So we will break for 90 minutes and then return for hand-for-hand play."

The reaction from the players?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Four players are currently on dinner and will return to bubble the 2010 Main Event. Quite brutal.

Plenty of chips flew during the last few levels and ten players now have over a million. Theo Jorgensen leads the way with 1,325,000 and is immediately followed by Duy Le with 1,320,000.

Pieter De Korver, Corwin Cole, Andrew Brown, Rolf Slotboom and Joe Awada all made early exits, while Tony "Bond 18" Dunst (1,179,000), Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond (1,050,000) and Nick Niergarth (850,000) made major moves.

LOL REALLY?

Joe Cada I understand. He won, and did nothing for the game, but he is already an established "pro" in the bax/sheets stable.

But Moon? Had he won Im positive we would have seen another poker boom. Southern redneck randon poker player wins millions. From New Orleans no less BEFORE they had the goodnews Saints story? Please.
• Moon is from Maryland, not New Orleans. Liked him last year. Knew he was out of his league, and admitted that it was easy to get where he was being hit by the deck. Humble, decent guy.

Well he did share his mints with me;).

All of that said, and wherever hes from, it would have been much better for poker than Cada winning.

Joes winning > Pros winning.
• Yeah, but I love seeing the Joes get jacked on Spike . . .
• Harrington Busted 768 Antonius busted
Gavin Smith Busted 730 but got just over 19k

Leader Tony Dunst 1.546 mil
Johnny Chan still hovering around 13th 1.159 mil
22 players have eclipsed the million chip mark
Sammy still battling 246th with 377k

Scotty Nguyen 635k Matthew Jarvis Surrey BC 6th 1.373

There is a guy from Milton in this. Please don't ask his name
I think he is east indian and I went cross eyed trying to pronounce it. lol
It would be nice for a CANADIAN to win. I would gues there are about 25-30 left. Most from Quebec and BC interior.
• I read on 2p2 that there was 39 Canadians left.(I am not 100% sure on this mind you).

I was excited about Tony Dunst cause i thought I picked him in the pool, nope!

Okay soooooo, Evan L is now the chip leader over 3 mil
• Matt Affleck chip leader again? Thats sick he was CL late in last years as well.
• Aparently the chip leader, Evan Lamprea is a red hot poker tour member from Windsor. I can't believe I still get emails from them ... :D

Did anyone else play these events in KW at all? First few seasons is when I played.
• 101 Playes left as the bi@tching hour arrives .

Evan Lamprea has dropped to 28th.
13 CANADIANS LEFT 4 in the top 9

Scotty Nguyen - Johnny Chan busted earlier in the day.;)
• Evan Lamprea Busted in 48th but gets a nice $168,556 pay cheque. Nice going to a guy from small town Ontario.

Cuong Nguyen 19,520,000 leads the pack
Pascal LeFrancois 10.3 mil currently 3rd Rosemere QC
Bryn Kenney 7th 7.4 mil
Matt Jarvis from Surrey BC 8th 7.3 mil
Looks like the Grinder is getting chewed up. Down near the bottom with under 2 mil left.
I think we still have 7 Canucks still in the running.
I thought Mr Assouline was showing some promise but busted.:-\
• Is that a Asian Darvin Moon in 1st place by any chance.:D
• Is there any live coverage of this at all?
