Jamming here pre is the ONLY play ever. Never ever play it different.
As played fold flop, you have another guy left to act and sonora's repping a solid hand.
was a little different hand for me. but your really shoving 20 bb here? i didn't really think it was slow playing as i don't really see me ahead of his range. smooth call in position i didn't think would be so bad.
I guess my hand warrants a raise and my raise warrants a shove.
now this....im not so sure about and it happens to be the real question of the thread...im thinking...this is a snap call.
we're playing a 3 dollar KO tournament, he is repping a wide range, no way to tell really. In no way is everyone taking this line in a 3 dollar KO gonna have a monster, probably pretty far from it
which means you agree we're callin this? i'd like to put him a standard tight range like tt+,ak,aq. but adding maybe 66-99. and i could add 22-55 plus some stuff like kjs. i always lean towards him having an awkard hand like middle pair or ak aq. either way theres four bets to my call in the pot and that destroys and range i have him on i think.....
You're not behind anyone's range in the world with AK. You should be shoving AQ and 99 here too.
Put them on a range and we'll be able to discuss this better.
see above...?
This is assuming the BB is dead money 100% of the time, which isn't true.
Board: 2c 4d 5h
Dead:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 36.761% 29.36% 07.40% 90687 22861.50 { AKs }
Hand 1: 63.239% 55.84% 07.40% 172470 22861.50 { 22+, AJs+, AKo }
no he's very likely calling but beat if we hit an A,k, or a 3....anyways.....how much money for the call vs. the pot....and how does it compare to the %'s?
Too many tables to figure it out right now, I'll check later. You gotta remember the A, K, and 3 aren't always good, and most of the time only 2/3 of them will be clean outs if you're up against a set, a straight, or something like pocket 6s/A5.
umm....maybe play less tables if you have no time for me.....
i really don't see the ep raiser with a low pp pre-flop here...its rarer with these stakes. mid pair ak, the bb could be anything but im feeling a weak pair or a straight draw. thats my read but my range is bigger. when original raiser comes over top, im highly putting him on 99+, ak, strong enough to shove not enough to slow play.
odds are 2.13 to one i think....but i thought they were better but i didn't count that some of his money gets returned regardless but that doesn't count the bb's extra 250.
