  • I use PT3 but only opne the HUD if I am deep (3/4 tables left). I then open all tables and track so I have good info should I bink a FT.

I use the 3 majors, but only as a relative indicator.

HUD more useful for Cashgames imo b/c you tens to get more hands with the same people.
  • i was under the impression i can't track the tables i'm not on?

youre starting to put hand ranges into your sentences again buddy....
  • I use PT3 for tournaments mostly. The reason I can't play higher volume is cause I can't get the little black boxes to resize with my tables ^^'

For stats I use mostly the standard ones, as well as cbet% and fold to 3bet given that player is in for a 2bet%. I also commonly look up fold to cbet% and flop bet% (and later turn and river bet%)

U can, as long as its open in ur browser.
  • vpip, pfr, aggression factor, flop turn and river aggression factors, went to showdown, won money at showdown, steal blinds and fold in blinds to steals and maybe hands played.

You play at same levels as me so that's pretty much all you need and that's the basic ones I say, if your playing higher mtt's you can throw in 3 bet stats and squeeze stats.

ahh but it doesn't display the hud though right?

i took out aggression factor as i don't use it...maybe i need a lesson on that. i have attempt to steal and fold to steal from sm fold to steal from big....

but i also have 3bet and cbet flop

perhaps but im mostly interested in what others have ;)
  • VPIP. PFR, AF, #hands

I use AF and don't bother with cbet etc because it includes those stats.

  • I wouldn't recommend one unless you're playing more than 8 tables, or playing higher stakes. If you're playing low stakes and have money to burn it's fine I guess, it's just not gonna pay for itself for a while. If you're playing 8 tables or less you should probably be able to keep decent track of people/notes/etc, or at least if you can't you should practice that before you get a HUD.
  • I use HEM and love it long time. Mostly cash, but also tourneys (on rare occasion i play em.

I can tell you that after putting up the HUD, I went on a really long (>20k hands) break-even streak, which sucked. For the crap limits I play, that's almost unheard of.

There's some value in small samples, but even large samples can be bad depending on the time accumulated them and the fact that players improve (especially at micro limits).

Know HUD limitations and don't rely too heavily on em.

    did not answer question.
  • The PFAF is total of all aggression action after the flop, it includes all bets and raises. I'm old school so I use the old AF from PT2 instead of the new AF% on PT3.

So if a player has an AF of 0 over 100 hands and I get 3bet, I don't need to know that stat to know he is good, same thing with cbets and so on. If a player has an AF of 3 or higher then sometimes I know to be careful of cbetting into him or conversely can check big hands into him and let him bluff away.

Subject: Who play with a tacker hud?

Answer: I do, and mentioned which one (HEM = Hold em Manager)

I didn't answer stats because like almost everyone else, I use similar. So instead of repeating the same things, I gave you a better answer imo.

Even then, the whole process for choosing the stats is very 'organic'. You play with it, adding and removing stats over time. Eventually coming up with an arrangement that works for you. Not the arrangement/setup that works for me.
