Full tilt steps

So I am thinking of advertising on here to see if anyone wants to buy a percentage(aka stake) me in a "set" of the steps stt's on full tilt.

But first I am looking for answers and anyone who has experience in these(I have won 2 26 dollar tickets under the old system) on what is a good plan or what you would like to see if you were going to invest.

-Is there exit points on each step? Meaning can you play mtt's or regular stt's with each step ticket won?

-What is the skill level at each step buy in?

-Do you get rakeback if you use a ticket as a buy in or will you get hit with minus rakeback?

-Would it be best to play out the whole set then decide what to play with tickets won?

-take a shot at a mtt or just play regular stt's with tickets won?

-Can you split up a ticket, say we won a 26 dollar ticket, can we break that down between say a 11 dollar stt and a 5 dollar stt etc etc.?

Anything else you can think of?

I was thinking like 30 buyins to do step 1 to begin with and see how many step 2's we get and then progress or play a step 2 if we have a few tickets in the bank.

Finally I guess the important question is would anyone be interested in buying a percentage of this plan?

I would like to keep the starting bankroll low as I part of this is for some fun in poker and of course make profit!

No idea. Don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

-What is the skill level at each step buy in?

Probably depends on whether it's people who are buying in directly to the higher steps or if it's people who are gradually working there way up.

-Do you get rakeback if you use a ticket as a buy in or will you get hit with minus rakeback?

AFAIK you do not get rakeback using tickets. And unless it's changed recently, the only time using a ticket affects your rakeback is if you buy it with points, or if it's a guarantee tournament with an overlay.

-Would it be best to play out the whole set then decide what to play with tickets won?

    Yes?

-take a shot at a mtt or just play regular stt's with tickets won?

    Up to you.

-Can you split up a ticket, say we won a 26 dollar ticket, can we break that down between say a 11 dollar stt and a 5 dollar stt etc etc.?

    No.

Anything else you can think of?

What do the backers get since tickets can't be transferred?

    Bolded.

    Bolded.

    For the last line

Any profits from regular mtt's or regular stt's played with tickets won.

So say we won step 3 ticket which is 26 dollar buy in,I can play a regular 26 dollar stt or a gtd 26 dollar mtt and any winnings from those would be the bankroll.
  • So you would have to win a Step 1, win a step 2, then cash in a step 3 MTT before the backer would see any return?
  • Ya that's why I was asking, upon looking further there is not enough regular games to use tickets at for the 1st 2 steps.

Maybe a plan down the road for me.
  • I think every level past and including 3 will have MTT or STT to play in.

I've found the players much better at step 4+....but everything before is pretty soft.

Actually have a buddy who won his ME seat playing steps this year (started @ step 3).....so it can be done.

I am getting great strategy lessons in the step one I am currently playing.
