No more bad beats!

Over the last week or so Ive taking so sick beats including some 1 outers. I find the more I tell my bad beats, the more I get. So I am going to challenge myself to not tell any more bad beats, or complain. Its hard, Ive tried it before and havent been successful. Hoping by doing so I can some kind of luck from the poker gods haha. With that said, do you think if someone asks how I lost a tourney and me telling them, would that be me telling my bad beats, or no. Anyone else think they can do it, and resist to temptation of raging out after donk calls who suck out like its their job?

  • ur doing it wrong!

    Reverse psychology ftw!!!!
  • Sure I'm in, gonna try multi tabling 10 dollar tourneys for most of next week anyway to pay for a trip so a positive attitude always helps
  • haha yeah for sure. Difficult to do as when losing deep in a tourney to a donk play or a big hand a cash table always pisses me off haha but gonna go for it. I thought of this as its been told that antonio esfandiari hasnt told a bad beat story in 5+ years or something, cant remember how long exactly it was. Making trip to Casino Rama today hopefully to take some easy money at the $2-$5 tables.

Is this not bad? I thought it would be good for motivation to try and work towards a small goal, but some experts say that is a bad thing to do.
