heads up tables?

has anyone ever made any HU tables? I'd love to try and make a bunch of simple ones. Easiest thing I imagine would be to find a real table and just glue some padding and cloth on. I don't think I would even bother with rails. Construction for 6 or more tables would be time consuming as hell.
Anyone have any suggestions on how/where to start?

    If you don't mind driving around on a Saturday Muddguts.
    Small fold up card tables 4x4 or 3x3. Light weight. I have seen them at some garage sales.
    You can grab a small role of thin foam or use carpet underpad. There are some construction sites where they have tossed out the end of the roll.
    1/4 inch plywood under $20.00 a sheet, felt and PL2000 Bulldog grip adhesive.

    Cut to size Glue and Srew lol
    Seriously if it's nothing fancy you should be able to make 5 or 6 for the cost of making 1 large table.

    you mean these HVE? I did go to a few thrift shops today looking for used stuff but there wasn't anything but then I went to Zellers and found these...

    On sale for 15 bucks! Think i will be grabbing 7 more for 16 person HU tourneys.
