Also, anyone who even tries to say shove pre or fold pre or something retarded will loose a lot of respect points

Comments

  • You just keep playing and continuously keep getting soulcrushed when deep then some miraculous day you actually hold and finish in the top 3 for a nice score.
  • Haha I wont be the one to say you should shove pre or fold pre cause i think both are horrible plays. However with a raise to 4xBB by a guy who has more chips then you might warrent a flat call, setting up a trap for a squeeze play but also keeping the pot small. If you miss the flop you dont commit too much but if you hit no one will put you on AK. Im not saying raising is a bad play by any means. But i recently read negreanus new book and they say countless times that hands like AK and AQ are the worst tournament hands as more often then not you will go bust with them. you can think you hit an ideal flop with a62 but you could easily run into 66 and on a flop like that AK is so hard to get away from. Over the last few years, all poker annoucers and all you hear is how you need to be aggressive, but thats not the case. Im not gonna ramble much more. But for more information I suggest reading Daniels new book called Power Holdem Strategy. Easily the most influential book Ive read and has improved my game so much.
