Just a matter of time. The best pitcher in the majors right now.
#1 in our hearts but this guy definitely has something to say on the issue.....and note he pitches in Colorado.
Ubaldo Jimenez, P, Colorado RockiesMonday 5/31, 5:50 PM CT Ubaldo Jimenez made more history on Memorial Day, twirling his second complete game shutout of the year in Colorado's 4-0 win over the Giants. He struck out nine while allowing just four hits. At 10-1 on the season, he is now just the seventh pitcher since 1990 to have 10 wins before June 1. Our View: His ERA is now a microscopic 0.78 through 80.1 innings pitched. With four months left in the season, he is roughly on pace to go 30-3. Obviously he won't, but 25 victories are not out of the question.
He's definitely having a great year so far, but his previous years are nothing to speak of. He could be a flash in the pan. Consider things like durability and longevity, all the while maintaining a level of excellence near the top of the league, and Halladay is a proven commodity.
