Poker Pro Canada, PFC, Orangeville Tour and Steve
The Poker Pro Canada June edition is out in Casinos here, hopefully out east too.

Very happy to see that all the plugs stayed in the feature of Steven Kerr, including the Orangeville Poker Tour and Poker Forum.ca ones. Thanks to everyone who suggested players for this article. It is a six page feature, Titled "Five Canadians to watch at WSOP" and Steve has a large headshot from a previous WSOP, sporting a truly Canadian hockey night in canada t-shirt.
In the end the players I went with were Jason Warner from BC, Todd Hunter from Alberta, Tyler Bonkowski from Saskatchewan, Steven Kerr of Ontario and Benjamin Leblond for Quebec.
We put this together months ago, so very happy to finally see it print, although we knew it was a WSOP preview issue. The article is featured on the cover, right under Poker Pro Canada, "Our Picks for Canadian Gold at the WSOP"
I shipped him a PDF, hope he likes and would appreciate any other feedback.
Hopefully this gives a little spotlight to the true grinders and students of the game....seems to maybe have brought a little luck.
Since we all talked, Steve won another seat, Ben chopped Montreal for 50k and then finished 8th in the FTOPS HU, Tyler won multiple WPS events and went deep in the Irish open and Todd Hunter finalled to WSOP sats in Canada for some decent coin.
Poker Kai is also featured for his win on page 94, in which another author reported on the Western Canadian Poker Classic in Edmonton.
What is also very cool is they have been also including talk and mention of the CPT, so the lines in the sand seem to be getting thinner. Which is great because my boss really didn't want me giving stories to PPC when we have our own Canadian Poker Player Magazine. This is the best of both worlds, even better for the players if we all play nice. CPT gave the picture of Ben to me knowing that it was to be used in PPC. Here is hoping the stories get better and Canadian Poker and putting it on the world map big time will be the number one goal for all parties.
