Wow, I wonder if GTA or anyone else who plays double or nothings will get alot back, have to check my hold em manager and see if I played any of these morons.

Nope, you just have to browse the lobby for mtt's and see the number of multi accounters, even regular sit n go's, it's so lol that people make it obvious they are doing it.


Now I think they will move to other sites like aced if it is not already happening there, This is prob why full tilt does not have them or have said it's not likely they will ever offer don's.

I think DoN's started as a way of getting some "dead money" back into the games . . . as in "Look! Just finish in the top half and double your $$$ !!! It's easy."

As for the cheaters, as long as the sites rake in a boatload of cash before it gets noticed . . . meh.

+1. I got refunded about $20 many moons ago because people had been colluding playing $3 SNG's. It's out there. You've just got to be aware. Besides, it's the same you'll find at casinos and underground clubs too. Collusion is everywhere. It doesn't mean we have to stop playing, just that we have to be actively looking for it...

I got credit of $52 into my account for DoN collusion.

PokerStars has become aware of two players who were working together in our Sit & Go tournaments to the detriment of other players. You were involved in at least one tournament with these players and as a result you may have been adversely affected.

The players' accounts were closed and their funds frozen pending a thorough investigation, which is now complete. Fortunately the problem was identified quickly and they had only played in a few tournaments before the accounts were closed.

In a case such as this it is our policy to confiscate the colluders' winnings or balances and to distribute them to the players affected by their actions in as fair a way as possible. To confirm your credit, log onto your PokerStars account, go to the 'Cashier' screen and click the 'History' button. Your share will be shown "ADMIN CREDIT", followed by the amount of the credit.

I regret that we will be unable to answer questions as to how your specific credit amount was calculated. Likewise, we are not at liberty to identify the specific games or players in question. Suffice to say that they have been barred from the site and you will not encounter them again.

The integrity of the games at PokerStars is of paramount importance to us and we will not abide cheating or collusion in our games. We work hard to police our games and prevent such instances. In the rare cases where collusion has actually occurred, we make sure that any players affected are compensated appropriately.

I'll have to check that list when I get home. I play a lot of the $50 DONs so probably at some point I got colluded by these guys. It's obvious to me that some of these guys are cheating when you look them up on sharkscope they have tens of thousands of DoN results with a ROI of 1-2%. I don't mind playing the regs because I think the direct effect of getting colluded in a DoN is much smaller because the variance on these is so low.

I didn't get any refund and I played thousands of $20-$50 DONs in March and April. I can't be bothered checking the list but are you saying that Stars requires you to email them requesting a refund based on that list?

It would be a bigger issue if they didn't refund. It's their reputation on the line. As far as how they would refund, they would first freeze all the accounts of the accused, then reimburse players they have played against with those funds. Obviously, it would not be enough, so players would likely get a percentage back based on the number of games played against this group. I doubt the victims would get everything back though.

I would just scan the list against your database, see if you have any history with anyone in this group. Chances seem to be that if you have one name in common, you're going to have a few. Then I would email P* and ask for a refund, if they haven't sent you one yet.

I emailed Stars and they responded saying that they haven't started refunding anyone yet.

Don't think that's right. Several on 2+2 have gotten refunds already, and Scoops said he got it as well, right?

My refund was in the first week of May and the games played would have been from Jan/Feb at the $50 DON level.
