Rake....one table and dealer per every 2 players AKA labor costs.

Structure......everyone starts with the same amount of chips

    Payouts.....they pay the winners.

Just busting your balls a little back my sunshine:p

No idea, I have heard the event is close to capping.

    Hey Jon,

I recognize you from when I used to play more at GE -- I'm planning on playing live more again once I have some time. Are you playing the red deer event? I called a couple days ago and there were 12 players registered...I might go for the 2nd start date, not sure yet.
  • Don't know if I am going, if I did it will be work. We are just awarding the points for this not organizing it, trying to help Krista out and also many people have said they would play a HU tourney if it wasn't too pricey.

Just spreading the word. I wish I knew which player you are. I was obviously at the GE for the WSOP series, again CPT related. I did play the $60 on the Sunday though which is something I hadn't done in a while. All poker talk and no play these days for me....not quite sure how I got here.......

Weren't you sitting at the 2/5 or 5/5 about a week (maybe 2 weeks) ago? I hardly ever play tournies just cash.
  • No 5-5 for me sir, Ron Campbell maybe? He is the only one on our team that you find at those stakes, he was at Grey Eagle a bit a few weeks ago. He took 2nd in the road to the wsop for 18k too :)

So the HU seen 23 entries for Day 1, a Friday an not in Calgary or Edmonton. Good chance of 32 for today. So they could see 55 of the 64 player cap.

Navroo Shergill, Kevin Noble, Chad Rogers and Chris Symesko make up the first Final 4 for Sunday's 8 In the Money.
  • Didn't make it out...in the end was too far for me to be bothered
  • I like cash casino, it is a lot cooler than that other crummy joint in town. Two dollar blackjack and a 1-2-5 game with some good old boys aint a bad time at all. I guess it's a chain out in Alberta or something, cause they seem to have cash casino's all over the place.
  • Cash Casino Red Deer Heads-Up Canadian Poker Tour Poker Challenge was well organized by both Krista Alton and Amanda Hellmer. In the end, good friends Chris Symesko and Jarrod Leppard battled it out in the final bout. After winning a match each, they chopped it up for about $3750 a piece and then flipped for the bragging rights. Chris Symesko gets those. Congrats also to Navroop Shergill and Josh Wallace were the semi finalists, each collecting $1850. The other 4 finalists got $950.
