this has probably been asked before but i was just curious.

what is the most you've lost in one session?

what is the most you've won in one session?

put your answer in buy-in amounts just to keep it fair.

for me:
won - ~5 buy-ins
lost - ~5 buy-ins

    After tilting, I would guess my worst session was about 7 or 8 buyins. Tough day. I've implementing a stop/lost system on myself now of 4 max.

    Best session wasn't that long ago on Cake actually. Think I finished up about 10buyins in the space of 2 hours. Unfortunately, that's slowly bleed away, and I'm only up 40% on Cake right now.

    maybe my variance isn't that bad after all :)

    - lost -2/5 - 1.6 buys
    - won - 2/5 - 2.2 buy-ins

    -lost - 1/2 - 3 buy-ins
    - won - 1/2 - 5 buy-ins

    Have been down more in one session but have battled back in most cases. I don't think I would continue playing if I lost more than 4 buy-ins in one session. Would definitely be off my game if that was the case (tired, etc.).

    Forcing myself with a stoploss has probably saved me more often than I care to remember. I stick to it regardless of my play or mood at the time. Most sessions lately I've been able to battle back after losing a couple bi and end the session on the plus side as well.

    4.5 buy-in win for cash games (but I bought in "light" for a 1/2 game).


    Worst loss was 2 buy-ins, cuz I am a cheap-ass bastard.

    If we are going by BI and not cash then largest win was 15BI at 1/2.

    Loss 7BI at 1/2.

    Playing 2/5 I was up 7 buy-ins (this was before the new higher max as well)

    Most I've lost is 3 buy-ins (that is my limit for one session)

    by buy-in i'm referring to the max buy-in on a cash game table (which is usually 100BBs)

    yeah i have also forced myself to set a limit. 3 buy-ins now.

    i once had a sick three hour run on everest. Started with 50 dollars on a 2/4 limit table (i believe this was the limit) and ended up cashing out over 1300 (up 26 buy ins) about three hours later. Worst session prolly about 4 buy ins

    best 5 buyins, 1/2 live.

    I don't play a lot of cash sessions though...
