    $1000 starting stacks

    I think they go.

    25/50
    50/100
    100/200
    200/400
    400/800

That looks like one of the worst live SnG structure I've ever seen, and I've played in some bad ones <.<
  • Thanks for the heads up. That is a brutal structure, I think I'd have better luck playing blackjack for the hour.
  • The big attraction of the tournaments is the low quality of play.
  • I taught my mother, who is 67, how to play poker, and she wins these with quite a regularity. Take that for what it is worth. She actually can play quite well. So if you lose an older women at the SNG's at Niagara there is a good chance it is my mother. Myself, I have no luck what so ever with them and have given up playing them.
  • I think I lost against your mother :D She cold called aces first hand, and I shoved AKs and her aces held up and I busted out :D

Plus antes starting at 100/200. And to make it worse they put 11 people at the table.

I lol'd, that's not even poker. 20 BB starting stack and 5 hands (half an orbit) with the luxury of playing that deep. I wonder what the guy who thought this up was smoking when he did...
