was there two weeks ago. They have limit and NL. Tables vary but for the most part you will only find a couple good players per table. Waiting list gets to be huge. Get on it ASAP!! Not sure if you can phone in but if you can do it.
No BBJ yet. They added the $6 max rake at the 1/2 tables back in November. Agree with the couple of good players per table. Plenty of people just shoving chips in with K high. Just pick your spots.
the dealers are idiots. at times they'll ship it to the wrong person so make sure u're alert lol. 1/2 is hardly any actions b/c there are a lot of local grinders. 2/5 more actions but equally more donks. if u're planning to grind out a couple of hours i'd say go to the 1/2 otherwise 2/5 is best. they also have limit but its pretty much for suckers and beginners. you Cannot call in like fallsview, which sucks b/c weekends are huge waiting lists. but you could get lucky. gl man.
Wow that's interesting that there are three times as many 2/5 tables as 1/2!!!!!!!!
Would you say it was easier or harder to make money than Fallsview/Niagara???????
Ya I thought that was weird also, as for your question I can't say, I have never played poker at Fallsview/Niagara.
I was mainly at rama for dinner just for the record, but walked by one of the screens they have around showing what is being offered in the poker room.
So was there again tonight, holy not busy, I think that is the most empty I have ever seen, dealers waiting for people to sit at a table.
Looks like 4 taBLES OF 2-5, 1 of them being limit(would rather stab myself) and 3 tables of 1-2, 1 of them a limit table(would rather stab myself again).
As I was looking at the games being offered, tall guy comes storming out of the poker room with a smoke already in his mouth telling his buddy how he got outdrawn by opponents 88 on the turn, ya this guy was pissed, so I thought of yelling into the poker room here fishy fishy:D:D:D.(maybe I will do that at the royal cup;))
My advice would be to buy in @ the $2/$5NL for $300 rather than play the $1/$2NL @ $200.
Hand values have plummeted @ $1/$2, with most pots under $30, table folds to a $15 raise preflop 9 times out 10. Although this can lead to controlled aggression equalling you can run the table much of the time as I find players are easy folds, it also means one hell of a fucking grind to get over the $100+ profit hump.
Was in today and scooped $260 on the $1/$2 over 3hrs as hey screwed me on the $2/$5 NL list, but I hit several monsters and only lost 1 pot, but none of my pots except 1 topped $50.
Everyone else was sitting there with their original $200 give or take $50.
I don't mind 11 seats, especially with how slow the list can move there.
My problem is the $200 cap @ $1/$2. They should raise it to $300, as so many people buy short that even 11 handed there is usually much less than $2200 on table.

I've only played 2/5NL there once a little over a year ago.
They spread 1/2NL (200max) and 2/5NL (500max).
They rake 10% max $5.
The tables are eleven handed!
there's nl at casino rama? i thought it was only limit. maybe i'm getting mixed up with another casino...
Did they add a Bad Beat Jackpot(Yuck)??

$15 used to be the minimum preflop and you'd get 3 callers @ least.
It's nice living 10min away, on my way in for some 2/5 NL hope to see some of you there.
