Poker League Set for late 2005 start!
Hey I heard about this league starting up in Mississauga. The way it works is that there would be a weekly tournament, with a tournament of champions at the end of the season. Anyone would be eligible to play each week as long as they can cover the buy-in, and it sounds like a pretty solid operation. Its set to kick off in September '05, because the organizer is tied up for the next few months, but it sounds good, I'm already signed up for week 1, and there are only 40 spots available each week. The buy-in is YBD, but it will be somewhere in the range of $100-150.
