Should I go turbo?

Hi everyone,
I've been playing a few 3.4$ 18/27 men SnGs on Stars recently and so far I am fairly pleased with my results, although I don't have a big sample yet (I played around sixty of them, 4-tabling at a time). I like the structure of these small SnG because the blinds go up every 10 minutes, which I think gives me somewhat of an advantage over the competition there..
However, I'm wondering if the turbo variation of these SnGs would be more profitable.. On the upside, I'd be able to play more of them. On the downside, there is more variance in them (i.e. they're somewhat crapshoots) and they are more difficult to multitable because of the fast pace..
So what's your take on this? Are Turbo SnGs better than non-Turbo ones in your opinion? If so, why?
Also, should I consider playing 45 men SnGs? I like the 18/27 men ones because of the smaller field sizes and the time it takes to complete them, but the higher payouts of the 45s are quite interesting..

Thanks for your feedback guys, it's really appreciated..
Cheers

  • The 45 man turbos on PS and 90 man's on FTP are awesome.

Those are the main SnG's that I play. Weak players but the variance will make you want to puke some days (be prapred though to 30 BI down swings).

The 45's take about 1-1/2hrs to win.
  • I also enjoy the 90 man turbos on FTP, but they are double stacked so you do get some extra time.

It's definetely a lot more preflop and flop play.
