Weekday Niagara Trip

Planning trip to Niagara on Monday,April 5th was wondering what casino would be best for weekday trip. Are the rooms during the week just filled with regulars or is one of the casinos a little busier with more action than the others? Willing to play at Niagara, Fallsview or Seneca which would be the best choice for 1/2 or 2/5?

    Niagara,

    Only 1/2NL Holdem,
$200 max buy in, $60 min.
    Rake 10% Max $5.
    $2 rake on the flop, +1@30, +1@40, +1@50

    Fallsview,

    No 1/2NL
2/5NL ($100min $500max) Hold'em is the smallest game in the house.
$6/half hour session fee. No Rake.

Fallsview no longer runs 5/5. They have upped the max buyin on the 2/5 game from $300 to $500! This is a very good thing is you have postflop skills.
There is almost always a 5/10 (200-1000) game and sometimes a 10/20 game.

Do not try to play on the weekend evenings. The wait lists are too long.

    Seneca,

    10% rake Max $4+1
    $3 rake on the flop, +1 @$40
+$1 for a bad beat jackpot @$20, (need to loose using 2 cards with Quads).

    1/2NL (40-100max)
    1/2NL(100-200max)
    2/5NL(100-500max)

    2/5/10NL runs on Tuesdays.

    They also spread 2/4, 3/6 Limit hold'em, and Omaha high/low limit, 7cardstud.

    Booze is free.
Some of the patrons look like homeless people.
    The room is well run.

All 3 casinos are good when you're playing with tourists...
  • I was at Fallsview on Tuesday early morning, was able to get on the 2/5 max 500 game. They just had 2 tables running @ 12pm. Basically it was like a home game with all the regulars there (i never understood that if you all know each other, play at home) anyways, SO INCREDIBLY soft....

For the record, the 2/5 game is now I think the best game at Fallsview, you have a lot of 2/5 max 300 players who are playing with scared money and you also have the old 5/5 players who can't play to begin with. Makes for total carnage on the tables.

For the most part the 5/10 game now is a little tougher (still beatable) but if you are like me and just like to grind out 100/hr or so, 2/5 is the way to go. Players are stacking off very light in the 2/5 game.

I was on table 5 seat 3 from 2 PM to 9 PM, Were you at my table?

Any ideas why the 5/10 is a little tougher?

I was on the second table in closest to the 365 bar....I was in seat 7. The only other table going was the one in the center right in front by the desk.

I also got up at 230 having played from 11....so we may have crossed paths.

Just game selection. They don't spread many 5/10 games. I have sat in it a few times since the upgrade of the 2/5 game. Just seems like a lot of 5/10 10/20 players that have some sort of clue what they are doing. More regs than usual I guess. I hate playing with regs....
