  • this is why I never understood why certain Canadian poker players stated in the media that they were going pro and quiting school etc., to pursue a poker 'career'. I think if you hold a regular job, its probably difficult to argue that you are a 'pro' player.

    There are probably lots of players spending 40 hours plus a week at the casino while collecting poggy.

    You pound enough money into the bank while claiming to be unemployed, people start to ask questions. Death and taxes they say.
  • yup, ontario works is a pain in the ass, I just had to send a letter today and raise shit cause I have a case worker who is clueless and just making accusations out of the air, They want to know every little deposit even if it's money right from ontario works or money you have already reported for christ sakes. It's called check the fucking file and your phone messages.
