The W5 episode on CTV tonight at 7 PM is about how a Saskatchewan pig farmer became an online gambling billionaire (Bodog).

  • The show ended with a surprising announcement that Ontario is the latest government to consider joining Quebec, BC and Atlantic Canada in setting up its own gambling site just like all the other so-called illegal and evil sites. :-\ Online poker for Canadians is +EV-ly fine the way it is, and I don't want the OLG screwing it up like its insider cheating, management abuses and weird gaming regulations.

  • Too late for that, folks. OLG will, eventually, be the only approved online gambling method for inmates of this province. I could even see them moving to make access to the competition extremely onerous, if not illegal.

    We all know the government hates to compete on an even field . . .
