This a good river vbet?

50 dollar tournament on betsson. No real reads on villain since we're in the early stages of the tournament, seemed like a sexy spot at the time:

  • I don't mind it. It was fairly cheap and you can easily rep AK or AJ there. I may have still bet the turn though, as the K on the river means KJ caught up if villain was drawing.

Villain should have definitely folded the river as he only beats a bluff. C/c with 4th pair is bad. If he really thought he was good he should have tested you on the flop.

Personally, if I am villain I fold pre, call flop and fold river.
  • seems a little small, anyways you have a problem if the villain re raise shoves the river...
  • I think it's too thin...

Keeping small allows him to get away if raised, but may keep a person trying to catch a bluff calling. Although the only bluff I see possible is like A2-A9 or 89s.

It is more a "I don't want to show my hand type bet." Which turned into "he called with that? OMG I've found my new best friend" type bet.
