pokerstars security

This is getting silly. Three times now have I been blocked from depositing and withdrawing money from pokerstars because I'm supposed to be connected to an account with which they have an outstanding issue.

The first time it was because I had transferred 20 dollars to a friend to play some mtt's with her. Apparently she in turn was wrongfully accused of being connected to a random player who neither of us had heard of and therefore I got blocked as well for transferring to her.

Second time it was a player I never heard of and now it happened a third time (it has come to our attention that your account is connected to "randomplayerwhoIprobablyfeltedwhenhemadearetardedcallagainstmewith6high"
with whom we have an issue) just when I needed to withdraw some money quickly.

Will it always be like this? Can't I do anything to stop stars from being retarded? (overcautious is a better word but I'm just upset right now)Thoughts?

  • Has it always been the same player that you were connected to?

If so have them put a note in your file.
  • Move funds to Tilt, enjoy good life.
  • That sucks.......I'd suggest not doing transfers to anyone....but I sent one to Fed back in the day, and I didn't get flagged.
  • you should really post your problem, along with your emails to stars in the twoplustwo stars thread. the reps there are very fast at resolving problems if you have a legitimate beef.
  • Thanks for the replies. I sent them an email explaining that it had occured before, that I had no idea who the player was and didn't know why I should have, that I had already sent them a copy of my ID and didn't understand why I'd need to again and so on.

They got back to be within a few hours saying everything was fine now. They didn't comment the fact that it had been happening over and over again, how I was supposed to be connected to the player or why they messed up telling me to remail my ID but my account has been reinstated.

Would have liked some explainations but I suppose it's all good now ???
