Figured it was time for a new thread for you to suggest ideas and updates for the site.

Currently on my list is:

    On a more serious side, how about a little insight into the life of our most benevolent owner? You would be amazed at how you can "win" over some of the most interesting people on here by opening up a little..... Graham did, and look where it got him.. :)
    We all (most anyways) would love to help you grow this site so that almost every Canadian poker player at least knows about it...

    Hey Jesse,

    Some of the ideas I had for the site that never got around to doing were:

    - Member blogs (not sure if this would be popular, but some might take advantage of it, or if people had their own blogs it could update with the lastest post under their username (they have something like that on DigitalPoint))
    - Canadian poker news section
    - Canadian Casino directory
    - Some kind of plugin to better organize homegames (people could click an ATTENDING type button)
    - Canadian Poker player profiles
    - Strategy Article Section (either links to archived posts on a certain topic, or members could submit their own) - Just a more organized way for new people to find some of the most common topics
    - Radio Show - was suggested once I believe here, and if there was enough interest could be a fun thing for the forum (possibly while forum tourneys are going on)
    - Poker Videos section
    - An embeddable for fun poker client (I tried to get a license to use gpokr but they wouldn't sell me one)

    Those are off the top of my head, if I think of others I'll let you know.

    As for the converter I think Ridge on PAL has one.

    How about getting some of the more experienced and successful members to actually WRITE a strat article every once in awhile? Create a list of topics to cover, and ask them to build a post on the topic, and then schedule a new one to post every couple of weeks or so. Can be specific to cash/tourney, buyin's, beginner/intermediate/advance?

    This could be fun and interesting. Not only as part of the Strategy section but also for others to upload a video they make for others to comment/critic about.

    As nice as this would be, I don't know how many would actually be willing to do it.

    Wouldn't hurt to asked them.
    Even if only a couple would be interested or willing, its a start. The Strategy section is whoafully void of good articles, and it would be great to see the train of thought of some of the more successful members. Just solicit the general members for what they would LIKE to see and start there, then ask someone skilled in the area to write up a small blurp about it. If nothing else, it would generate interesting discussion in the strategy section again.

    Edit - or just post more Nudes as per my first request

    I am a member of another site that has a shoutbox. After a brief flurry of heavy traffic, interest seemed to die off. Many days I hit the site for updates, and the box is empty . . .

    You need a gif for the "Scare quotes" that belong around the word laser . . .

    hmmmmmmmm really huh:D

    How about donkeestars or 2 outer stars, or the worst hand always wins stars:p
