jokerstars

ok im not a bad poker play i have been playing live poker for about 10 years now and have made some good coin doing so
in the last 2 years i have been playing more online poker then pritty much ne thing ealse.
after trying a few sites i had settled on pokerstars in my 1st year i had cashed out like 1000% more then whatr u had ever bought in for
i had stoped playing poker stars for a wile have have recently gon back to the site deposited a mear 100 bucks and started playing micro and low lvl sitngo and small lvl cashtables 10/25cent
but it seems now nothing i do can make me money on this site!
over the last week i have been called and betten in almost every trny i play with like 2 outers i have trips player have over [pair and he hits higher trips.
my 100 has dwindled to a mear 10 bucks and i have one only one trny sinc i deposited and that was the 1st trny i bought in 4
every cent i have lost has been by ppl hitting unbeleveabul outs. i understand there are donks out there very well but to have it happen every trny every cash table every time seems a litle strange to me
this is begining to have me beleve that maby in some way pokerstars flags accounts in some way to make it so they lose...
seems strange i buy in fore 250 b4 and cash out more then 15000 in 6 months i stop playing 4 some time and come back and then cant win a single hand....
i guess its time to bid pokerstars abue! i do so injoy there interface and the range of turnys they have but what ealse can it be...
wounder if ne one eals sems to have this problem with jokerstars

FTW! This place was sweet! You should hit Thai Son, Broadway near Kingsway, or the one on Main and 23rd "S....." forget the name, very good.

I've found the same thing (except over 10,000 hands I'll have up-swings and down-swings, and overall am breaking even). In short, I think there are fewer fish and/or more experienced players (or some of the fish became experienced) than there were a few years ago. It's not like the old days when any half-decent player had a huge edge over the average.

I still find that live games are a lot easier. I have a much higher ROI live than online.
  • I completely agree. Although I have not played a lot online.
I have noticed this trend in live poker.
Weekdays were =EV and Weekends were +EV without a doubt.
Now it seems like live in a casino due to the rake and fish not having as much money and some becoming experienced a weekday is -EV and weekends is where any money is to be made.

My advice, keep your place simple and analyze.
(Macro not micro) And keep records, track your play.
On paper.... In head does not work.
I have a spreadsheet I fill out after every session.
Where, when, duration, outcome, mood, notes, etc.
