multi-currency on pokerstars

Can someone tell me what is the point of having a Canadian $$ account when there is no Canadian buy in games coming anytime soon? You still have to convert so you can play, pokerstars have better rates or something?

Im guessing so when you cashout its in Canadian Funds? FTP just started offering this and its great b/c it saves 14 days worth of withholding by Canadian banks.

true in that case, but I don't get checks from sites, you still have to convert before cashing out so i still don't see the difference
  • the major upside of this currency thing is that stars converts your money at the TRUE rate. whereas if you cashout in USD in the past, you had to exchange your money at the bank, where they charge you anywhere from 1-2.5%

great new feature for canadian players

If that is true then that is a major plus. I just can't believe though that they would not add a spread to the currency exchange.

Very cool then. Now if only I were good enough to make some coin to cash out :)

I didn't realize that dyslexia caused you to not only flip letters around, but flip terms around so that you end up thinking depositing once a week was cashing out once a week. Learn something new every day.

Well if your deposit clears you can cash it out again right? Give the guy the benefit of the doubt........ lol
  • You should have always been able to cashout from your Stars account into CDN currency with no vig. I've been doing this for over 2 years.

Works the same way for deposits.

I use E-check on Stars...I'm such an anti-nit, I don't know if they take any juice? But it's in my account in 1-2 days....so for speed, it's the best there is.

Anyone know if there's any juice on E-check?
