So I open since the table isn't doing anything or ever playing back at anyone. Then I make the mistake of reading the 250k to 500k raise as a minraise and make the call, then this happens:

Ofc a tight guy light you would do that. There were so many things that felt wrong though, then finally his bet on the flop just screamed "I have something, but I don't want to have to call a bet from you with my jacks" (or whatever he had)

It looks extremely spewy (even to me) but the fact remains that my reads as of late has been spot on quite a bit and I've made A LOT of deep runs in tournaments.

Right now I'm sitting 2nd out of 63 on the bubble of a 24 dollar tourney on full tilt after calling off 15k of my 24k stack on the river with ace queen high. I really don't know what to make of these type of plays anymore, they just work so much more than you'd think if you pick the right spots and right people

I don't play online tournaments, but after getting so far in this tournament, I would think you could find a better spot to get all your chips in the middle. With that flop, even if you hit your king you could be behind so you most likely need runner, runner to win the hand (assuming the other guy calls). You might want to consider these kind of pushes in a semi-bluff situation where you still have some outs to win the hand if the other player does make the call. Especially where the other player comes out with a raise and the board is pretty dangerous (A Q on the flop).

there are only two things to consider in poker lines, times where you lost money and times you coulda made more. you saved your self here, ill defend it.

He timebanks but 20 seconds later I'm feeling on top of the world. Not sure this is gonna work two times out of three though as it has to I think it has to but it looks like I dodged this...somehow
