10 man freeze-out- Oakville
Alrighty, the new year is almost upon us and I'd like to start hosting a NLHE tournament here and there. Maybe once a month or once every 5 weeks.
I have no idea what the response will be like but I won't know if I don't try.
Will take 1st 9 players to reply to the thread (no PMs). Will start a reserve list as well.
WHAT: 10 Person NLHE Freeze-out
WHEN: Sunday January 10th at 1 p.m.
WHERE: Oakville (private residence)
PRICE: $60 (no rake)
PAYOUT: 1st-$300, 2nd- $180, 3rd- $120
CHIP COUNT: 5,000
BLINDS: 25 mins
STRUCTURE:
25-50
50-100
75-150
100-200
150-300
200-400
300-600
400-800
500-1,000
600-1,200
800-1,600
1,000-2,000
1,200-2,400
1,500-3,000
2,000-4,000
etc....
- Players are welcome to place a bounty in front of them at a min of $5.
Only players also with bounties in front of them may win that bounty prize upon a knockout.
If you place $5 bounty in front of you and you knock out someone that has a $20 bounty, you obviously
can only collect $5 of it.
- If a conflict arises that I cannot answer on my own, I will refer to
ROBERTS RULES OF POKER
- stand out rules include "show one, show all", "2 chip raise rule", "2 cards to win a hand", no string bets, rabbit hunting or splashing the pot
- I can deal solo or if everyone would rather pass it, we can do that too.
- bringing booze is acceptable. Drinking a shitload of it and driving afterwards is not.
- food or snacks are welcome, bring what you like and either hog it or share it, up to you.
- busted players are welcome to play a cash game or even heads-up while the tourney is still going. Limits to be agreed upon by the starters of the game.
The goal is to end the weekend with an easy going friendly game hopefully with a little profit tacked on :-)

You know I don't plan too far in advance, but you are really close
Same day as Bellwood also.
Milton Slim
would love to have you out Slim but the bigger prize is at Belwood, I know. This is a good option for people that want a better chance of winning with a shorter drive.
